The lectures were delivered by the researches in the classrooms for at least one hour each. Before and after the lecture, students were asked to fill in the questionnaire "Attitudes towards Dating Violence" which was developed by Price, Byers and Dating Vigor Research Team (1999) and adapted into Turkish by Yumuşak and Şahin (2014). Since 133 questionnaires were incompletely filled in the pre-test or post-test period and the data analysis was performed on the questionnaire of 319 students. According to the findings of the study, the attitudes of the university students towards dating violence change and their level of the dating violence acceptance was found to be lower after the lecture. In addition, it was determined that there was an increase in the number of participants who stated that they were subjected to and resorted to violence and in their relations. Based on these findings, it can be said that with education, dating violence awareness can be achieved.
