THE EFFECT OF DIGITAL GAME ADDICTION ON SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT LEVEL OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

It is seen that today's children tend to digital games depending on their living conditions. Rapidly
changing technology increases the relationship of individuals with technology and technological
tools. With the ease of access to the Internet, the narrowing of playgrounds, and the forgetting of
games, it has left its place to virtual games. In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of
digital game addiction, which can have an academic and social impact, on the social development
level of secondary school students.
