Abstract

Describing the violations detected in standard finance through factors related to the psychology of
the individual brought about the emergence of fields such as behavioral and neurofinance and made
it necessary for research to work on a common ground with disciplines such as psychiatry,
neurology and pharmacology. The first studies in neurofinance started with the study of brain
injuries and have already expanded into a neuro-psycho-pharmacological field. However, human
and animal lesion studies and neuro-pharmacological studies both require highly qualified
preparations and are subject to ethical limitations. The psychiatric aspect of the subject, on the other
hand, has turned into an important field of study by providing an environment that is rich in lesions
and because of the variety of symptomatologies of psychopathology, which facilitates these
difficulties, as well as eliminates manipulation and preparation, and thus provides an environment
ready for experimentation. Besides, the findings obtained from studies conducted on neurotic and
psychotic cohorts include completely real behaviors rather than an attitude statement. In this study, it is aimed to compile the findings of researches in the field of finance and in the
context of psychopathology and to present a description to the literature.
