As being the most popular and most frequently followed media, television reflects the combination of traditional and
current issues to the public. Television serials are providing intellectual and emotional for individuals needs. Besides
serves as a medium for public relations regarding their need for learning others life and rules of the community to a
degree. The support increases the attention to serials which usually contains family problems, loneliness and
humbleness of women, the desperation of men against women's resistance, a new model search of the young generation
and their tendency to unacceptable behaviours. The feeling of belonging to an upper class and showing a higher social
level are also main topics of these serials. As television serials are supporting intellectual and emotional needs of
individuals needs, they satisfy people’s curiosity about others lives by providing unhappy events and poor conditions
These are the main reasons for the popularity of tragedies in television serials.
