Abstract

Architectural acoustics are very important in the cultural centers where there are meetings, exhibitions, courses, shows,
competitions, audiovisual programs and multi-purpose halls in the center of these centers. In this context, the purpose of this
study was to make the acoustical analysis of the auditorium by conducting the current situation evaluation through the in situ
measurement method and the 828 person room which was started to be built in 2008 and opened to service in 2013 at the
Bozok University Erdoğan Akdağ Congress and Culture Center. In this context, the acoustical performance evaluation of the
mentioned culture center was carried out by using the on-site measurement method of the reverberation time (T30) parameter,
which is one of the most important parameters used for achieving acoustic comfort conditions.
