Destination attractiveness elements play a very important role in the destination choice of tourists.
Cultural values are also among the most important destination attractiveness elements. One of the
most important cultural values is the handicrafts that societies put forward with collective
contributions for many years. In this research, the art of tile, which has a significant place in
Turkish architecture and continues today, has been evaluated as a destination attractiveness element.
Consequencely, it has been seen that Iznik and Kütahya tiles are used in all of the historical
buildings visited by tourists and play a role in reinforcing the cultural attractiveness in this respect.
