Abstract

In contemporary times, traffic violence images are reflected on television and social media
platforms. The societal harm caused by traffic violence, at times resulting in fatalities, is evident.
Therefore, the aim of our research is to determine whether raising awareness through informational
videos can reduce individuals' inclination towards traffic violence. A quantitative research method
utilizing survey techniques was employed in our study. Approval for the survey was obtained from
the Elâzığ Provincial Directorate of National Education. The sample group was selected using an
appropriate sampling technique, comprising all actively involved participants in traffic. A total of
389 data points were collected from participants using Google Forms. The obtained data indicates
that watching an informative video on anger management can have a positive impact on individuals'
ability to control their anger. Upon analysis, participants who watched the video demonstrated
better anger control and composure during tasks compared to those who did not. The video, created
using the Canva web 2.0 tool, provides participants with useful information and techniques for
anger management. For instance, it illustrates triggers of anger and how to recognize and address
them. Additionally, it offers tips for implementing personal care practices that can help reduce
anger emotions by emotionally impacting the participants. Future studies may utilize content
created using Canva or other web 2.0 tools to conduct awareness campaigns addressing various
societal issues.
