Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the level of studying behaviors of gifted/talented students
studying at secondary school level in Science and Art Centers and to contribute to the increase of
the quality of education by providing students with out-of-school and in-class studies in accordance
with these studying behaviors. The population of the research is secondary school students
registered in Istanbul Zeytinburnu Martyrs Science and Art Center. In the research, Baltaş's "Study
Behavior Assessment Scale" was used to determine the students' study behavior levels. The
"Personal Information Form" prepared for the research was used to collect demographic
information about the students. The data obtained were evaluated separately according to the
science ve art centers programs that the students were enrolled in, their gender, and the subdimensions of the Studying Behavior Evaluation Scale. As a result of the evaluations, suggestions
were presented regarding the guidance studies that should be done in order to strengthen the weak
aspects of the studying behaviors of the secondary school students registered in the science and art
center.
