A CASE STUDY FOR DETERMINING THE PROBLEMS OF ERZİNCAN BINALI YILDIRIM UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ABOUT THE COLLECTIVE TRANSPORTATION

Abstract

The aim of this study; determining the problems faced by students in Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University and developing
solutions. Considering the distance between the university campus and the city center (15 km) in terms of student potential
and physical space characteristics, students face transportation-related problems. For this reason, first of all, it has been tried
to find solutions to the transportation problems of the students of Erzincan Binali Yildirim University with the campus and the
city center and to find solutions to these problems. The research is a case study of students' transportation problems. Firstly, it
is tried to determine what the problem situations related to the research problem are related to. A semi-structured interview
form was developed by the researchers to collect the research data. 7 questions were included in the interview form. Students
indicate that public transport does not have a program for departure and departure times. The most important reason of
transportation problems is that transportation services are carried out only by private company.
